Sergio Sanchez swam competitively since the age of eight representing Peru at the South American Championship in 1989. After taking a break from sports for 20 years, Sergio started doing triathlons 6 years ago falling in love with the sport. Since then, he has completed 5 Ironman and multiple 70.3 Ironman qualifying to 70.3 Ironman World Championship in 2016.
Needless to say, swimming is his strong leg of the race as he consistently comes out of the water in the top group. He is looking forward to help fellow athletes to improve their technique in the water and ultimately to get faster!
