Heather joined a group of friends in training for a sprint triathlon at the end of the summer of 2006 and fell in love with the sport. Since then she has competed in over 40 triathlons including three Ironman. (Wisconsin 2012, Roth 2014, and Mont Tremblant 2016) She was a bike coach with Atlanta Tri club from 2009 to 2011 but switched to run coaching in 2012 so that she could chase the fastest riders possible while out on group bike rides.
Heather is a South Carolina native and graduated from Georgia Tech. She is also a USAT Level 1 Coach. She was a member of the 2015 and 2016 ATC race team and is an ATC Ambassador and Run Coach this year. She can be found at Energy Lab teaching or assisting on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. She has a fur baby named Emma, a 1 and ½ year old Pomeranian.
