Carrie returns to multisport coaching after taking time off to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and begin work as a physical therapist. She has over six years of coaching experience working with triathletes, runners, and cyclists and has experience teaching cycling skills, running drills, performing metabolic testing, and completed has extensive graduate level course work in exercise physiology. She is a USAT level 1 coach and assistant cycling coach with the Atlanta Triathlon Club.
A lifelong athlete, Carrie has been competing in endurance sports for over 15 years. She is a member of the ATC race team, a USAT All-American, WTC 70.3 Worlds qualifier, Ironman Silver All World Athlete and has competed in two Boston marathons and several 50k to 50 mile trail races as well as cycling road races and duathlons.
Carrie enjoys teaching all levels of athletes about their training plans and how each training block and workout fits into the picture of their primary goals. As a physical therapist at One on One Therapy, Carrie also enjoys helping athletes in both injury prevention and return to sport and is trained in dry needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Screens and Red Cord Neurac 1.
