Caroline Finkbeiner has been a part of the Energy Lab and ATC for almost 2 years and is an assistant swim coach for the club. She was a 2-time All-American swimmer in high school and competed in the SEC Championships meet all 4 years of her collegiate swimming career at the University of Tennessee. She mainly competed in mid- and long-distance freestyle events. Caroline has turned her interest to triathlons in her post-grad years. She has competed in various Sprint, Olympic and Half Ironman races and is looking forward to doing many more.
She has been coaching swimming since high school with a wide array of age groups and ability levels. For example: she coached Masters at the Carl E. Sanders YMCA in Buckhead for over a year. She loves learning what her swimmers want to accomplish and, in turn, work cooperatively with them to achieve their goals. Her goal is to share her knowledge from years of competitive swimming to improve athletes’ skills and technique in the water, regardless of performance level.
