Caroline Finkbeiner recently joined and is now an assistant swim coach for Atlanta Triathlon Club. She was a 2-time All-American swimmer in high school and competed in the SEC Championships meet all 4 years of her collegiate swimming career at the University of Tennessee. She mainly competed in mid- and long-distance freestyle events. Caroline has turned her interest to triathlons in her post-grad years. She has competed in various sprint triathlons, and is looking forward to competing in Half and Full Ironman races.
She has been coaching swimming since high school with a wide array of age groups and ability levels. For example: she is, currently, the Masters swim coach at the Carl E. Sanders YMCA in Buckhead. She loves learning what her swimmers want to accomplish and, in turn, work cooperatively with them to achieve their goals. Her goal is to share her knowledge from years of competitive swimming to improve athletes’ skills and technique in the water, regardless of performance level.
